I first read about the Kubrick Metal Gear Solid toys in toyfare magazine about a month
after the game came out. I thought they looked pretty cool, but I wondered how cool
lego toys could be. When my friend came by in early April and told me that they had
a box of Kubrick MGS toys at the local comic book shop I decided I'd split the cost of
a box of 24 with him. It was worth every penny. They were the coolest toys I'd ever seen!
Abstracting such a bad-ass toy to a super deformed size adds so much more depth than I can
put into words. Anyways, after opening the box he ended up with the "impossible to find
raiden" toy that is mentioned on the side. That night I was messing around with my toys
and I set them up in the coolest position. I had to immortalize it. I busted out my digital
camera and took a pretty cool shot. That was when I got the idea to start making dioramas
with the toys and taking pictures of the coolest ones. That weekend we got together and
had a photo shoot. This web page is the result.
If you want some Kubricks of your own so that you can emulate what we did with them,
