I first read about the Kubrick Metal Gear Solid toys in toyfare magazine about a month after the game came out. I thought they looked pretty cool, but I wondered how cool lego toys could be. When my friend came by in early April and told me that they had a box of Kubrick MGS toys at the local comic book shop I decided I'd split the cost of a box of 24 with him. It was worth every penny. They were the coolest toys I'd ever seen! Abstracting such a bad-ass toy to a super deformed size adds so much more depth than I can put into words. Anyways, after opening the box he ended up with the "impossible to find raiden" toy that is mentioned on the side. That night I was messing around with my toys and I set them up in the coolest position. I had to immortalize it. I busted out my digital camera and took a pretty cool shot. That was when I got the idea to start making dioramas with the toys and taking pictures of the coolest ones. That weekend we got together and had a photo shoot. This web page is the result.

If you want some Kubricks of your own so that you can emulate what we did with them, check out our auction on Ebay.
