Third Time's the Bomb!!!

Holy crap this issue was a lot of work. Seriously, you have no idea. Read the editorial for more info, but basically the senior editor, the guy who decides what stays and what goes, OKs everything, does most of the layout, makes sure everything's edited, all that stuff, he's from New Orleans and his house was put under who-knows-how-many feet of water just when we were starting to really ramp up production of this issue. Don't worry, he's safe and sound (in St. Louis actually), but in order to make our self-imposed deadline of the 15th (which we just barely made, but only in the timezone one over from me), about 90% of his responsibilities were left up to myself and the rest of the staff. Thankfully, the staff and I really worked our asses off with all of the editing and layout stuff, hopefully resulting in our most polished issue yet.

There's really a lot to love in this issue. I am personally in love with The Gamer's Quarter EXCLUSIVE preview of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, the incredible staff game design feature, the crazy brit treasure hunting escapade Soldier of Lost Fortune, and the short Novella by rockstar game journalist Tim Rogers entitled Life Non-Warp: DX.

If any of you know me personally, or perhaps want to get to know me better, check out Within the Shell of a License, Suicide Salaryman, and Real Dog vs. Nintendog (Real Dog Wins), all of which were written by my exquisite hands.

Wait no longer, click this link and download the 128 page beast that is this issue of The Gamer's Quarter. As always, it's absolutely free (and don't forget to let me know what you think).

There's more! My Birthday is on Sunday the 25th and on Friday night I will be celebrating in the old fashioned middle school way. I'll be having friends over to play multi-player video games. There will be lotsa Halo 2 but maybe as the night dies down we might bust out a bit o' the ol' Mario Party and/or Karaoke Revolution. If you haven't been invited just ask and I'll throw you on the exclusive list. Saturday will follow this up with the usual family fun day and Sunday will be the same. It's a weekend of Wes! And in case you were wondering what to bring, here's a list!

-Wes
