Digital Tour of Our New Apartment!
I've been promising these pictures to a lot of people for a while so I decided to finally put them up today. Here is a pictoral tour of our new apartment!
Living Room
This is the Living room. Along the front wall is the TV and Stereo system that prevents Christina and I from fighting
by providing maximum enjoyment at Maximum volume! Along the
other side of the room sits a small portion of my bounty of
video games. Oh yeah, and my Girlfriend Christina is sitting
on the futon reading a novel that no doubt involves unicorns
and dragons. For reference, the book is called Daughter
of the Forest.
Update: Christina informs me that there are no dragons
or Unicorns in Daugher of the Forest, but assures me that there is plenty of "Druid Magic."
Bedroom
This is the bedroom, where all of the magic happens. That's
right! Christina reads her fantasy novels in here too! (Be
sure to zoom in and check out the fairy picture above the
bed, it's as fantastic as anything that happens in this room,
I can assure you)
Office
I like to call this my room, but Christina assures me that
it's supposed to be called "The Office." My Transformers
line the back wall in a plastic bookshelf, and any system
released prior to the year 2000 is periodically swapped in
and out of rotation on the TV near the entryway. For reference,
Earthbound is in the SNES.
Bathroom
This is the bathroom. Last night I spent about an hour in
here playing through a section of Sabrewulf on the Game Boy
Advance. When I returned to the bedroom Christina was asleep
so I guess it must have been time for bed. At the time of
this writing Christina is in bed and I have to go to the bathroom.
Maybe I'll make it through another section!
Kitchen
This is the Kitchen. I spend most of my time in here doing
dishes and taking out the trash so I'm not really sure what's
in all of those cabinets. What really matters is that the
freezer's stocked with ice cream. And luckily it is!
I hope you enjoyed the tour. I'm not sure if it gives a perfect
image of what the apartment looks like, but it's pretty close.
I avoided taking pictures of all of the unpacked boxes that
are scattered in the most inconspicuous corners, but it's
a good representation of what it should look like in the future.
I may not stay here for more than a year, but it's a good
set of 5 rooms and after less than a month I can already call
them home.
