Hey, here's some more pictures of the beautiful new niece Miranda!

I haven't been updating because I've been spending my free time doing two other things. The first is playing Animal Crossing, and the second is a top secret game design project of sorts. Animal Crossing is a really unique Gamecube game where you play the only human in a town of animals and you run around trying to make all of the animals happy. It's really a lot like me in Japan. (This joke was stolen from Doug who lives one town over, thanks Doug). Seriously though, I definately stand out as being different than everyone else, and I do spend most of my time trying to entertain everyone. The town is actually eerily like my town in Japan. Here's a list of a few of the ways:

  • You pay your bills at the post office.
  • A really loud chime rings every hour for no good reason.
  • There's only one store in the whole town.
  • Giving someone a present absolutely always results in a return gift.
  • People are always handing out stationary.
  • There are actually still people here who actually have the hobby of "letter writing" and if you don't write someone back they get really pissed.
  • And last but not least, I spend far too much time at home playing video games!

I'm calling you out right now. Aunt Jo and Andrew... You guys need to get this game!

Ok, today's the grand finale of Gaijin Fest 2002! Woo Hoo! I promised a special present for today, but it's not quite ready yet. I'll tell you what it is though, it's another round of Engrish! I'll have it ready in time for the next update though, so sit tight.
