Sayonarra Gaijin Week.

This week I hung out with mostly American people and should have lost almost all of my ability to speak Japanese. If today was any indication though I actually learned a lot while I wasn't speaking any Japanese because I can carry on conversations for must longer and my listening ability seems to have doubled. It could just be that I now have a real desire to learn the language rather than get by and hope it sneaks in somehow. We'll see if it lasts.
