After Wes' article, I'm swayed to say D.S. The true poll will be with my money though when these things come out. _________________ Weeeee, video games are fun! Oh if you are a Final Fantasy fan, check out my fanfic in the SuperWes video game forums! |

DS rocks . . . I finally got my hands on one today and was blown away. Trust me . . . a few minutes with a DS, talkign to your friends via a nintendo networked chatroom . . . and you'll never say "neither again". I can't wait to own one. _________________ Weeeee, video games are fun! Oh if you are a Final Fantasy fan, check out my fanfic in the SuperWes video game forums! |

Dude. I've been trying to respond to your last post since last week, but I can't figure out what you're saying. What would make someone say, "neither again?"
Since the DS is out and I've got one, I can ignore your post and move on to talking about that instead. How do I like the DS? I have mixed feelings. The system is more powerful than I expected and it's awesome for touchscreen style games, but using the stylus as an analog stick just doesn't work that well. I've been playing Metroid and Mario 64 DS using the regular pad and it works a lot better. In Mario 64 I'm actually having an easier time with the D pad than I did with the analog stick in the original. It's implemented remarkably well. Feel the Magic is more representative of a game uses the system in the way that I expected, and it's actually really fun. I never want to play it for more than 15 minutes at a time, but I have fun with it every time I pick it up.
Final Review:
The system shows a lot of potential, but the release games don't really do much with that potential. As amazing as Feel the Magic is, it's not worth $180. They should have packed in Bejeweled.
